Lights on the Lake is a yearly Heartspring fundraising event that allows supporters to drive through the 37-acre campus to enjoy thousands of lights and dozens of lighted displays. The event includes a Preview Party  complete with food, entertainment, live and silent auctions and a “flip the switch” ceremonial lighting of the campus.  In addition to the drive thru, there is a Hospitality Center that includes hot drinks, holiday treats and photos with Santa.

The website allows supporters to buy a candy cane in honor of, or in memory of someone special.  The donation shows up immediately on the candy cane wall, along with a personalized message from the donor. Autism CARE Walk fundraising pages

The first ever Autism CARE Walk was held April 12 at Heartspring and was a huge success. Funds generated from the event will help benefit local children who are on the autism spectrum through workshops and programs offered by Heartspring’s Community of Autism Resources and Education (CARE) Program. A website was created for this event that allowed participants to ask for online donations from a personalized fundraising page. This custom fundraising system  provided the tools for setting a fundraising goal, collecting online pledges and sharing the fundraising page with friends and family. Internal reports were also implemented for Development and Marketing staff.

The vision of Heartspring’s CARE program is to meet the unique needs of families by providing resources, services, and a community of collaboration specific to autism spectrum disorders.  Join Heartspring for the 2nd Annual Autism CARE Walk on Saturday, April 4, 2009.
